Privacy Policy

Vivapack Ltd (company number 08647535) runs vivapack.co.uk. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, and what your rights are. We follow the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

  • When you order: your name, company name, delivery and billing addresses, email address, phone number and the details of what you bought. Card details are handled by our payment provider and never reach us.
  • When you send an enquiry: your name, company, email, phone number and whatever you tell us about your requirements.
  • When you subscribe to our newsletter: your email address.
  • When you browse: cookies and similar technologies, described below.

Why we use it

  • To process and deliver your orders and send you order and dispatch confirmations (to perform our contract with you).
  • To answer enquiries and quote for larger or custom orders (our legitimate interest in responding to you).
  • To send our newsletter, if you've asked for it. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email.
  • To keep accounting and tax records (our legal obligation).
  • To understand how the site is used so we can improve it, where you've accepted analytics cookies.

Who we share it with

Only the companies that help us run the shop: our ecommerce platform (BigCommerce), our payment providers, our warehouse and delivery partners (to get your boxes to you), our email service for order emails and the newsletter, and our accountants. They process data on our instructions and don't use it for their own purposes. We don't sell personal data.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for six years after the order to meet tax and accounting rules. Enquiries are kept for two years. Newsletter subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to run the basket and checkout, and, with your consent, analytics cookies to see how the site is used. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings link in the footer or the banner that appears on your first visit.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and ask for it in a portable format. To do any of these, email privacy@vivapack.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
